NASA needs students from all degree programs – even arts and business!

NASA representatives will discuss programs for students like OSTEM Intern, Pathways Intern, Pre-Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship and Volunteer Programs. You will also hear from personnel who work at NASA about their own personal career path from community college to NASA.

Camp Promise is a week long experience for adults and teens with neurodegenerative disorders. These camps are looking for counselors, photographers, culinary arts, and other enthusiasts to provide services during this week.

This experience is ideal for a variety of majors like education, human services, health sciences, hospitality, marketing and digital media, and liberal arts. Learn more at their website.

VDH Summer Academy:

The Summer Internship Academy is a structured 10 week program that allows current or recent students to explore what it is like to work in at the Virginia Department of Health. The program is for students with a broad range of backgrounds, from accounting to graphic design, environmental health to biology, and public health to engineering, every field is applicable to the agency. The academy will be placing interns in many locations across the state.

The VA/MD WIC Dietetic Internship:

This internship is a fully accredited program whose mission is to offer a supervised experience program based on the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Education and entry level program requirements which will produce highly competent community based registered dietitians who can work effectively in the changing healthcare environment.
